Hi, I'm Lemon from LemonMedia. Today, I will be reviewing the Redragon Kumara K552 keyboard. The first thing i like about it, is the price. At around 35-40 dollars, this keyboard is a steal for being a mechanical keyboard. Yes. I said mechanical. This has knockoff Cherry MX "Green" equivalents. They feel more like cherry blues, but hey. Still tactile and clicky, and they have a 55mm actuation point. When you get to the bottom, you feel a bump. The experience is good. I like typing on this keyboard. It's very loud. Louder than cherry blues. There are only 2 effects. The backlight stays on, or it breathes. The keyboard is good for typing. It also feels very sturdy and will last a long time. The sound like I mentioned is incredibly loud. There is no point on trying to hide this from mom while your gaming. This is a tenkeyless (no numpad) design. The reason why they went tenkeyless is so they can reduce the cost to make and sell. Mechanical switches are expensive. That's why mechanical keyboards are regularly so expensive. It also has 12 different media keys. You can activate them by pressing FN then the key. There is a picture on each key so you know what you're doing. It's also good to get this when you have amazon prime because of fast free shipping. The only thing that bugs me about this keyboard is that there are only 2 patterns. I want my keyboard to do cool stuff while I type, not just slowly strobe. But overall, if you want a cheap, good mechanical keyboard, then get this one. Definitely recommended!
